The cries of the old and new newspapermen and quislings sold out against our Academician Rexhep Qosja
Opinion from Esad Gjonbalaj: It's completely normal to ha...

The state of the opposition has been my main political concern and commitment for several years. I firmly believe that this should be the concern of anyone who is committed to changing politics to bring about better governance.
Today we have three opposition realities. We have the Berisha DP. We have democrats and right-wing oppositionists who are disoriented, or who have surrendered to the despair caused by the cracks and wrinkles of the DP. Finally, we have the mosaic of opposition parties that have not yet found their political identity.
I have long felt at peace with the different types of reactions I receive whenever I express my critical stances on the opposition and the DP. I receive positive reactions from those who, like me, believe that change comes from the opposition and that it is the opposition that, by first changing itself, gives hope that it will then change Albania.
I do not hide the pleasure I get from these reactions. They are encouraging. They come from people who are tired of the opposition so far, from people who want change, who want something new. I know how to distinguish when these come from those who, no matter what the opposition does, will never support it.
The second reaction comes from those invested in Berisha's DP or any of the opposition mosaic parties. Their reaction is mixed and reflects exactly the confusion they have about what they are doing.

They accept the argument and the fact, but they do not accept the change. They know that their choice is not a solution, but they do not want to accept it. Those of Berisha know that they have no chance, but they want to be in the "game". Those of the opposition mosaic, know that they are not in the game, but they want to have a "chance".
The third reaction comes from my conscience. I have always doubted the "truth", even my own truth. This doubt about the truth protects you from worshipping idols, from the leader. At the same time, it also protects you from delirium, a "professional" disease that affects anyone who comes out of solitude and takes a step into public life.
This has made me refuse to be "in the game", without any chance, or to dare to try "chance" in the game of political dice.
What does it mean? It is not a play on words, as our fate is at stake. The question is twofold. Is the opposition possible, as an alternative to power? And is the opposition already possible in the face of power. Both are true.
The opposition is always possible, no matter how bad things are. But today's opposition, both the Berisha opposition, without any chance, but in the game, and the miniaturist mosaic opposition, without the game but with a chance, are already possible oppositions.
Opposition defeated before the race. Why? Because both the DP and the miniaturist mosaic have failed to capture the essence of the opposition's mission, which is to create a governing alternative. Each party, in its own way, is trying to occupy as much ground as possible in the narrow terrain of what will be the official opposition after the May 11 elections.
Berisha's DP has turned back. Those who promoted, believed, hoped, or just wished for the Reestablishment without believing it, have today forgotten everything they proclaimed as the reason why they gathered in the stadium on December 11, 2021.
They forgot the statute and changed it to attract, seduce, and entice into the fold anyone who was not afraid of the torn veil during the unimaginable struggle to cross the political rainbow. They forgot the opening, they forgot the flourishing factions and especially the main theme of the fight against the losing president and replaced it with “belly dancing”, the dance of the gypsies to the tallava rhythm for the glorious leader. They forgot change as a vital need for any opposition.
They rejected any idea of ??change, and have even given up thinking altogether, according to the tradition that leaves you speechless - "the Doctor must have thought of something about this problem." They forgot the principle of whoever loses, runs away. Today Berisha openly declares that he has no intention of leaving. They forgot the value of primaries and the opening of lists.

They turned these into a farce. They destroyed conservatism, which, like that ball found on the street, served only for a quick game with small goals. They forgot anti-imperialism and complaints about unjust and corrupt internationals, and today it is openly declared that they will lobby to find some loophole in the new American administration to remove the stigma from Berisha and possibly give us a hand.
Today, the DP is older, more clueless, more submissive and unified with the leader, more rejected by Albanians and more abandoned by its electorate than ever before. In this situation, the DP's decline will continue, rejection by Albanians will increase, abandonment by oppositionists who want change will increase. The DP will continue to decline.
On the other hand, the miniature mosaic of parties and leaders who hope to be lucky like those pretenders to be Penelope's groomsmen sit and chatter among themselves in the media because they do not have the ability to understand that the opposition does not start as a party, but as a movement. Without political action, without a representative political identity, there is no opposition, there is a protagonism that suffers from the aforementioned disease. They are possessed by delirium just like the old people to whom these young people declare themselves opponents.
There is no point in being an oppositionist to the DP and Berisha, when you cannot be an alternative. Many of them do not have the ability to understand that things in this country did not go badly because Berisha, Meta and Rama were bad, but that the political system we have built is closed and hopeless. And if they say this in words, they oppose it with deeds. All they do is imitate evil. Therefore, this is a possible opposition without starting a race. But is opposition possible? Yes. Of course it is.

Unfortunately, not today and not very soon. Yes, it is possible. It will start to be possible, after these two types of oppositions are defeated once again in the next elections. Then, when for the fourth time in a row, the elections will bring out the same government and the same opposition. Then, when they see that after four elections they will again have the same unbearable Prime Minister and the same unacceptable opposition leader.
When citizens, for the eleventh time since 1991, will continue to see that those guys who will be in the "game" no longer serve us for anything. These players will be simply and only Rama's employees in the opposition. And they will call this role "politics".
When citizens see that those types who will try their "chance" will not even be formally in the game. Of course, these latter ones will also continue to call "politics" their complaint about not getting the job and salary of the opposition.
Ah yes, without a chance, yes in the game, or by chance (destiny) and without a game, one thing will be certain for both types of opposition, they will continue to be played by the Prime Minister who uses his tongue like a razor to shave every hair on the skin of the opposition that continues to defeat him in every election. The removal of these people from politics in the 2025 elections will pave the way for a credible and electable opposition by the people.
Only then will an alternative opposition be possible. Simply put, an alternative opposition, especially for those who do not have the courage to think, as well as for those to whom the word alternative seems theoretical, and fragile, not at all revolutionary, that is, an opposition that benefits Albanians.
This benefit is quite simple: a better government than the one they have. Only then will the opposition make it possible to remove the unbearable Prime Minister as a possible party. Yes, this opposition will be possible./ CNA
