"Air Albania" is an airline, not without problems, started in 2019, initially advertised endlessly. Its flights began in Italy, Istanbul, Germany and many other countries, the Albanian flag began to rise. "The Eagle" began to fly high. At that time, it was expected that "Air Albania" would have a fleet of no less than 7 aircraft. In fact, it never had them, it didn't even have two. Over the years, the company has unfortunately been mismanaged, abused, and why not stolen. There have been political and media attacks, truths, half-truths, fraud, fines, attacks.

We closely followed what happened recently, from the release of the company's balance sheets, which we could not find in the Central Bank, but were issued by Turkey, to the Supreme Court decisions , which told us that "Air Albania" had flown about 120 people in business class on two planes a day. Something quite unbelievable.

Inflated bills, millions of euros in expenses, damage done to the company and everything continues to remain in agony. Debts, services, even political attacks. "The Eagle" should have flown far and high, but along the way someone hinders it, someone does not let it go.

The responsibility is clear, that more than in Tirana it lies with the management of the company at the beginning, but also with the main shareholder, which is "Turkish Airlines", since the Albanian state has 10% through AlbControl and businessman Sinan Idrizi 41%. The majority of the shares, at 49%, are held by "Turkish Airlines".

It doesn't seem like one of the world's largest airlines wanted "Air Albanian" so much, the "eagle" to fly free.

Perhaps in this case the story is very valuable, when the crow goes and tries to kill the eagle and hits it on the head to pierce the eagle. The eagle chooses to fly higher and higher, where there is less oxygen, until the crow dies and then continues to fly free.

This is what "Air Albania" should do. This is what the "eagle" and the flag on its tail should do. To rise as high as possible, to fly, to overcome the problems.

Albanian businessman Sinan Idrizi, but also the Albanian side must take their responsibilities, just as they must demand every responsibility from "Turkish Airlines", every responsibility from all the individuals who have abused the company, who have misused its funds. They must demand responsibility from the Turks of "Turkish Airlines", from the seriousness of their partnership in the creation of this company.

Because there was no sincere and honest relationship, this is already proven, that 7 planes were never delivered and although the company's management was appointed and commanded by "Turkish Airlines", the company went into a huge financial hole. If it had been managed differently, the "eagle" would have flown free and higher.

"Air Albania" should have been a source of pride, it didn't have to be one of the few airlines, while Rinas is being taken over by pseudo low cost companies, which have interests perhaps related to airport management and other connections.

"Air Albania" is not just an airline, it is the "eagle" that carries the Albanian flag on its tail, and "Air Albania" is written on its body. It is our eagle that should fly free and should not have to carry a crow on its back that hits it on the head./ CNA
