Supposedly to oppose "communist history", this is how illustrations are produced and spread with Ismail Qemali raising the Turkish flag in Vlora! With the independence of Albania declared with the Turkish flag!

Neither the venerable Turkish flag in the photo has any connection to the historical event of 1912 in Vlora, nor are the characters in the photo the proclaimers of independence, nor does the balcony belong to any house in Vlora, none of it has any connection to the political history of Albania.

As can be seen from the rotating circle at the bottom of the photo, the photo is taken from a video. It is a 1919 film chronicle from the British archives. It concerns the beginning of the Turkish War of Independence in May 1919 against the Allied powers (Greece, Armenia, France, the United Kingdom, Italy), which in the circumstances of the end of World War I were occupying the remaining parts of the territories of the Ottoman Empire.

Turkish portals reproduce this exact photo from the 1919 chronicle with the comment: "Look who liberated this country! It's time to accept the truth: Ummah side by side." It goes without saying that in relation to Turkey's history, their plight.

The provocative manipulator, with a fake Facebook, appears to be a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo or North Macedonia, unfortunately, so do the many commentators who support him, and according to some, the "false story" about the raising of the national flag in Vlora is being spread by "Catholics and Orthodox." Ok?
