World premiere for the return of "Peaky Blinders"

Hundreds of fans and photographers welcomed the stars to the world premiere of the film "Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man" in Birmingham, in an evening filled with emotions.

Actors Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth walked the red carpet, receiving a standing ovation from the audience. Murphy, who has played the iconic character Tommy Shelby since 2013, thanked fans for the series' global success.

"I feel an incredible gratitude to the fans who turned this series into a global phenomenon," he said.

Series creator Steven Knight and Murphy have publicly praised each other for their long-standing collaboration. Knight noted that Netflix estimates that two billion people are expected to watch the film, starting with the Birmingham scenes on screen.
Director Tom Harper called the fan community the “engine” that brought the project to this point.

The Return of Tommy Shelby

The film reprises Murphy's role as the gang leader, who returns to Birmingham during World War II in this new chapter.
"The Immortal Man" will be shown in selected cinemas for two weeks and then streamed on Netflix from March 20.
The premiere in Birmingham was met with a long and uninterrupted applause, an evening that many described as historic for the city and for one of the most successful British series of the last decade.
