"Operational" continues/ 2 internationally wanted persons are arrested

Operation "Operacionalja" to capture internationally wanted persons continues. As part of this operation, two internationally wanted persons have been arrested.

K. Ll. (M.), 34 years old, was arrested, declared internationally wanted by Italy after being sentenced by the Rome Court of Appeal to 6.7 years in prison, accused of "Criminal organization", "Drug trafficking" and "Exploitation of prostitution".

Also arrested was RI, alias AM, 40 years old, sentenced by the Court of Turin to 4.3 years in prison. The 40-year-old is accused of "Criminal organization", "Criminal group", and "Aggravated theft".

The arrest of the two internationally wanted individuals was made with the aim of extraditing them to Italy.

The police operation codenamed "Operacionalja" continues, extending to several cities in the country, to capture internationally wanted persons.

Two socially dangerous individuals, internationally wanted by Italy, were arrested in Fushë-Krujë and Dibër for participation in a criminal organization, drug trafficking, exploitation of prostitution and aggravated theft.

Following the successive operations conducted by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, within the last 12 hours, two more phases of the police operation codenamed "Operacionalja" have been finalized, specifically:

1 - Operation 39, within the framework of which the operational forces made it possible to locate, capture and arrest, with the aim of extradition to Italy, the citizen Klodian Llomi (Mazari), 34 years old, resident of Maqellarë, Dibër. The Court of Appeals of Rome/Italy, in 2023, sentenced this citizen to 6 years, 7 months and 2 days in prison, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal organization", "Drug trafficking" and "Exploitation of prostitution", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code.

2 - While within the framework of the Operational 40 phase, the services of the Special Operational Force Directorate made it possible to locate, capture and arrest, with the aim of extradition to Italy, the citizen Roland Ibrahimi, alias Ali Meci, 40 years old, resident of Laç. The Court of Turin/Italy, in 2024, sentenced this citizen to 4 years and 3 months in prison, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal organization", "Criminal group", and "Aggravated theft", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code.
