Police officer suspended from duty after being involved in conflict

The State Police has reacted with an official announcement regarding the conflict that occurred yesterday in Lapraka, in which a police officer was involved.

The announcement states that Deputy Commissioner FH has been suspended from duty and a disciplinary investigation has been launched against him.

The service weapon of the Deputy Commissioner of the DVP Kukes was also confiscated.

Also, regarding this case, the AMP has referred the materials to the prosecutor's office for the offense of "Intimidation".

 

Police reaction

 

In relation to the incident that occurred on 09.02.2026, in the Lapraka neighborhood, Administrative Unit no. 11, Tirana, at the Malaysian buildings, where the Police officer, Deputy Commissioner FH, with the duty of "Expert" in the Scientific Police Section at the Kukës DVP, for weak motives, conflicted with citizen DH, whom he is suspected of having threatened with his service weapon, we inform that:

Immediately, the Directorate of Professional Standards in the State Police suspended the police officer, Deputy Commissioner FH, from duty, and a disciplinary investigation was launched against him.

Also, in the context of the investigation, the police officer's service weapon, a "TT" pistol, was confiscated.

Regarding this case, the Police Supervision Agency has conducted investigative and procedural actions, which have referred the procedural materials to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further actions, for the criminal offense of "Intimidation".
