Sent to hospital without signs of life/ 4-year-old boy dies in Vlora

A serious incident has reportedly occurred in Vlora, where a 4-year-old boy was taken to hospital yesterday without any signs of life. According to reports, the minor had been showing symptoms such as fever, vomiting and diarrhoea for several days.

Meanwhile, the police have announced that no signs of violence were found on the minor's body. It is also stated that further forensic examinations are being carried out to determine the cause of death.

"The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, after on 06.02.2026, a 4-year-old child was taken to the Vlora Regional Hospital without signs of life. The preliminary examination did not find any signs of violence or other injuries. Further forensic examinations are ongoing to determine the cause of the death. The procedural materials were referred to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced. /CNA
