Two stolen vehicles seized in Vlora/Police suspicions

On 08.02.2026, the investigation structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, based on previously obtained operational information, carried out detailed checks on the road axis and in the territory of the village of Babicë e Madhe, for two vehicles that were suspected of being used to commit a criminal event.

As a result of the checks, the Police services have found two suspected stolen vehicles hidden in an olive grove, in the village of Babicë e Madhe, specifically:

-a "Nissan" type vehicle, with foreign license plates;

-an "Audi Q5" type vehicle, with foreign license plates; as well as 3 cans of fuel (gasoline).

From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that these vehicles would be used to commit a serious criminal event.

The vehicles and other seized evidence are undergoing scientific examinations.

The special investigative group of the Vlora DVP, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its work to fully clarify the circumstances as well as to identify and document the perpetrators./ CNA
