Found with 10 kg of marijuana and hashish in luggage/ Albanian arrested in flagrante delicto in Italy

An Albanian citizen was arrested by the Caserta Police Headquarters Team in Italy, as part of its action in the fight against drug trafficking.

The Albanian, a resident of the province of Caserta and legally residing in Italy, was caught red-handed for the crime of possession with the intent to sell narcotics such as marijuana and hashish.

According to reports from Italian media, investigators learned that a dark-colored car, driven by the Albanian, was regularly used to transport large quantities of narcotics.

Therefore, a targeted police operation was organized, seizing the vehicle in question and arresting the driver, who was already known for previous crimes against property.

Officers searched the vehicle, and a large quantity of narcotics was found hidden in the trunk, with a total weight of approximately 5 kg of hashish and 5 kg of marijuana. /CNA
