Flash operation in Shkodra/ A case of illegal possession of weapons and sale of

Shkodra police have arrested a 40-year-old man and have launched investigations into a 16-year-old man after a search of the vehicle they were traveling in found a firearm, a pistol, ammunition and a quantity of narcotics.

The 40-year-old is charged with "unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition", while the 16-year-old is charged with "production and sale of narcotics".

Police Announcement:

Shkodra/Intensive controls to identify and crack down on illegalities, 1 case in the field of illegal possession of weapons and 1 case in the field of narcotics were cracked.

The police operation codenamed "Blic" is finalized.

The 40-year-old man who possessed the pistol is arrested, and the 16-year-old man who possessed the narcotics is being prosecuted.

In implementation of the plan of measures to increase security parameters, by identifying and cracking down on criminal activities, based on information obtained through intelligence, the services of the "Eagle" Special Force have organized and finalized the codenamed "Blic" operation.

During the operation, in the "Liria" neighborhood, the Police services located and stopped the vehicle in which citizen MK and a 16-year-old were traveling. During the physical search, a quantity of suspected cannabis was found on the 16-year-old, which was seized as material evidence.

Following the actions, during the search of the apartment of citizen MK, 1 firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition, was found, which was seized as material evidence.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the Narcotics Investigation specialists:

-arrested in flagrante delicto citizen MK, 40 years old, resident of the village of Barbullush, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition";

-the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against the 16-year-old, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics"./ CNA
