Accused of being a spy in the Gramsci factory/ the 33-year-old refuses to be extradited to Russia

The Russian citizen, Svetlana Timofeeva, appeared before the Court of Elbasan.

The Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan requested the non-extradition of the Russian citizen to her country with the claim that the Russian state will not ensure her legal rights according to the human rights convention and that in Albania, where this citizen has a criminal process.

But the Russian citizen herself has expressed that she does not want to be extradited.

It is learned that the next session will be on April 14.

We remind you that Timofeeva, 33 years old from Russia, was arrested on August 20, 2022 together with two other citizens, Mikhail Zorin, 23 years old from Russia and Fedir Aplatov from Ukraine, after they tried to enter the premises of the arms factory in Gramsh and threw nerve spray at two soldiers guarding the military facility. /CNA
