The incident that happened yesterday morning, in neighborhood No. 1 of Cërrik, where 2 parked vehicles were engulfed in flames, is clarified. 

The police have identified the author of the event, a 34-year-old man with the initials IF. The young man was previously convicted of attempted murder.

The event that happened yesterday morning, in neighborhood no. 1, where 2 parked vehicles were engulfed in flames. As a result of quick and professional investigative actions, it became possible to identify the suspected author of burning the vehicles. The work for his capture continues.

Pursuant to the measures drawn up within the police mega-operation coded "Rule of Law", the investigative structures of the Cërrik Police Station, immediately after the event that took place in neighborhood no. 1, where 2 parked vehicles were partially burned, have organized the work in order to clarify this event and identify the perpetrator.

As a result of quick and professional investigative actions, it became possible to unravel this event and identify the suspected author, citizen IF, 34 years old, who was declared wanted. Intensive work continues for his capture.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen, around 05:00 yesterday, in neighborhood no. 1, for weak motives, burned 2 parked vehicles with fuel, owned by citizens AB, 32 years old and JB, 35 years old, residents of Cërrik (brothers).

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
