The first details have come to light from the gunshots that were recorded this morning in the village of Rrilë in Lezha.

It is reported that the citizen with the initials AP was injured, who is in the hospital, out of danger for life.

It is suspected that the latter was followed by the perpetrators and was ambushed. The 54-year-old was shot near the school, moments after he was separated from his children.

The police have set up several checkpoints and started work to identify and arrest the perpetrators, who immediately left the scene.

"Around 08:00, in the village of Rrilë, a citizen of AP, 54 years old, a resident of the village of Rrilë, while driving a vehicle, was injured with a firearm by an unidentified person. The 54-year-old was transported to the regional hospital of Lezha. where he is under the care of doctors (currently out of danger).

The Police Services, upon receiving the notification, immediately went to the scene, surrounded the area and set up checkpoints.
