They were selling narcotics near schools/ Two people in handcuffs in Tirana

Two citizens were arrested and handcuffed for selling cocaine and cannabis near a school.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that they hid the narcotics in the premises of a car wash used by one of them.

Criminal proceedings are being initiated against 1 citizen who was found to have a quantity of the narcotic cannabis that he allegedly purchased from one of the arrested individuals.

220 doses of cannabis, 20 doses of cocaine, 1 cold weapon (knife), a sum of money obtained from the sale of narcotics, 2 electronic scales and 2 mobile phones were seized.

Police Commissariat No. 3, following successive operations conducted to prevent, identify and crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics, based on intelligence information about a case of drug sales, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Interruption".

As a result of the operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: DD, 40 years old, and PG, 28 years old, both residents of Tirana.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens were selling doses of cocaine and cannabis narcotics, near a school, and that they were hiding the narcotics in the premises of a car wash used by citizen DD.

Also, following the actions in this case, proceedings were initiated in the absence of the citizen KL, 19 years old, after a quantity of suspected cannabis was found during the physical search, which the investigative actions suspect he had purchased from the citizen DD.

During the physical search of citizens DD and PG, the search of the car wash premises and the apartment of citizen DD, the Police services found and seized 220 doses of cannabis, 20 doses of cocaine, 1 cold weapon (knife), amounts of money obtained from the sale of narcotics, 2 electronic scales and 2 mobile phones.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
