Trafficked 20 kg of cocaine/ "Strong" arrested with two identities

The police have finalized a police operation codenamed "Operacionalja 23". Citizen Fatmir Isollari alias Fatmir Cenka has been arrested. According to information, the 58-year-old is a resident of Berat, where he was located.

It is learned that this citizen was previously sentenced by Italian authorities to 7 years in prison for participating in a criminal organization for drug trafficking.

During the period 2002-2003, this criminal organization trafficked 20 kg of cocaine from Albania to Florence.

These operational actions come as a result of the coordination of information with counterparts from the Italian Police. Interpol Tirana is cooperating with Interpol Rome to finalize the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy./ CNA
