The repentant justice minister, Nuredin Dumani, testified at the GJKKO as part of the trial for the "Golden Bullet" criminal group.

Journalist Klodiana Lala revealed more from Dumani's testimony, with the latter recounting how he was released from prison in 2014.

Dumani revealed the name of the lawyer who helped him when it came to Alban Bengasi, while adding that he managed to obtain a fake health certificate from a forensic doctor.

According to the journalist, Dumani emphasized that at that time the director of the hospital was the brother of a minister at the time, specifically Nasip Naço.

Dumani says he paid 40,000 euros to secure his freedom, while at that time the detention measure was for hostage-taking.


 "I paid money to get out of prison, I had a lawyer, Alban Bengasi. Nasip's brother-in-law, who is a doctor, helped me. They wrote the papers as if I was about to die. And they let me out of prison because I was probably suffering from a heart attack," said Nuredin Dumani. /CNA
