A 24-year-old man was arrested this Tuesday in Durrës after stealing a large amount of money from a pizzeria during the night. 

According to the police announcement, it is reported that his accomplice has also been declared wanted. 

Police Announcement: 

A large amount of money was stolen from a pizzeria at night, the 24-year-old was arrested, and efforts are underway to capture the accomplice.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Durrës Police Commissariat, from the investigative actions carried out for the theft by breaking and entering of a sum of money, in a pizzeria in neighborhood no. 13, on 11.01.2025, have identified the 2 suspected perpetrators of the case.

Following the actions, one of them, citizen MI, 24 years old, resident of neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, was arrested and put in handcuffs, and the other, citizen EL, 30 years old, resident of Arapaj, Durrës, was declared wanted. Work is underway to capture the 30-year-old.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës, for further action. /CNA
