The abduction and murder of Jan Prenga/ Left in prison for life Festim Bexhdili

Festim Bexhdili, accused of the kidnapping resulting in the death of Jan Prenga, in January 2020, has remained in prison for life.

This is after the Appeal of GJKKO, the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has upheld the decision of the "First Instance" for Bexhdili.

He has been found guilty of the kidnapping resulting in the death and disappearance of Jan Prenga's body.

We remind you that Jan Prenga was kidnapped on January 17, 2020 in Kamez and since that day his body has not been found.

According to SPAK, the order for the kidnapping was given by Dritan Rexhepi and Gentian Doci Funiqi.

The kidnapping happened after Jan Prenga's brother stole a container of drugs in Great Britain. SPAK said that Festim Bexhdili knows the place where Jan Prenga's body was buried, but does not reveal it./ CNA
