The police operation coded "Neighborhood" is being finalized by the Cërrik Police Station, for cracking down on criminal activity in the field of illegal weapons possession.

A 36-year-old man who shot a pistol in the air on the road in the village of Liçaj is in handcuffs.

The firearm, a pistol, a comb with military ammunition, 2 pneumatic guns, 1 pair of binoculars and 1 cold knife, which were found in his apartment, were confiscated.

The services of the Cërrik Police Station, following the work to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, after the information received that in the village of Liçaj, a citizen had shot in the air, with a firearm that he was carrying without a permit, have organized and finalized the operation coded "Neighborhood", within which the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:

- SS, 36 years old, resident of Liçaj village.

This citizen is suspected of being drunk and shot in the air with a pistol after midnight on the street in the village of Liçaj. There were no injuries from the shooting.
During the search of the 36-year-old's apartment, the police services found a pistol firearm hidden in the garden, while in other premises of the apartment they found a comb with combat ammunition, 2 pneumatic guns, 1 pair of binoculars and 1 knife.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
