Floods from the rain/Vlora still in a state of emergency, many problems

Vlora was the city worst hit by flooding as a result of the bad weather on Friday.

All civil emergency structures continue to be engaged in the field, to repair all the problems caused by the high-intensity rains.

Currently, the work of all structures is concentrated on 4 intersections still blocked in the city of Vlora.

In their support are also 24 members of the Armed Forces, with 5 vehicles, 3 vehicles of high permeability and 2 suction pumps.

This is what the Minister of the Interior, Pirro Vëngu, said, while adding that the troops on the ground are working to remove the water in the blocks of flats between the blocked axes.

FA operatives are working with two pumps to remove water from the main pumping station, where there is still water. In the meantime, electricity has been cut off in several blocks of flats in the city, mainly where there is water in the electrical cabinets./ CNA
