With a firearm in the apartment/ Police: The 53-year-old man is arrested

As a result of the work of the police intelligence, the coded police operation "Rural" against the illegal possession of weapons is finalized.

1 firearm, rifle and ammunition are seized. The 53-year-old man who possessed these items, without permission, in his apartment in the village of Kurbnesh, was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs.

During the monitoring of the situation on the ground and the work of the police intelligence, carried out in the framework of the "Rule of Law" mega-operation, information was obtained that 1 citizen was carrying a firearm without permission in his apartment, in the village of Kurbnesh. The information was immediately administered by the Mirdita Police Station, which, as part of the coded "Rural" police operation, carried out checks in the alerted apartment.

From the controls, 1 firearm, rifle and ammunition were found in this apartment, which were seized by the Police, as material evidence.

At the end of the procedural actions for the case, the owner of this apartment, citizen Gj, was arrested in flagrante delicto. Gj., 53 years old, for the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions.
