Shots fired at a house/ Suspected perpetrator sought in Mirdita

Police services continue their work to locate and capture him.

At around 02:30 on 20.06.2025, citizen E. Ç., 30 years old, notified the operations room of the Mirdita Police Station that a gunshot had been fired in the direction of his apartment.

The Police and the investigation team immediately went to the scene. Upon inspection, damage was found to the wall of the apartment, caused by the use of a firearm.

As a result of rapid investigative actions, it was possible to identify the suspected perpetrator, citizen LV, 51 years old, resident of the village of Nerfushaz, who is suspected of having shot in the direction of the apartment of citizen E. Ç., his ex-wife's brother, due to a family conflict.

Citizen LV had been declared wanted the day before, after he had exercised physical violence against the same person.

Intensive work continues to locate and capture him.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Lezha, for further action. /CNA
