Video/ 3 Albanians accused by the GJKKO for criminal events are extradited from

Three citizens accused by the Criminal Court of Albania of being involved in serious criminal events against the person and as supporters of a highly wanted citizen are being extradited from Dubai to Albania.

The 3 extradited citizens were captured a few weeks ago by the Dubai Police, as a result of the rapid provision and exchange of information by specialized structures of the State Police.   

Following the cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Abu Dhabi, within the framework of the international operation, codenamed "The Wanted", the procedures for the extradition to Albania of the Albanian citizens declared internationally wanted were finalized: 

-Ervis Daka, 38 years old, to whom the Criminal Court of Kosovo, in 2024, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", remaining in the attempt, "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group;

- Maksim Koçi, 39 years old, to whom the Criminal Court of Kosovo, in 2024, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", committed for interest and revenge, "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group;

-Ado Xhika alias Ado Cërriku alias Elkier Cërriku, 40 years old, to whom the Criminal Court, in 2024, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Supporting the perpetrator of a crime", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group.

The three extradited citizens were handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons. /CNA
