The services of the Durrës Police Commissariat, within the framework of the "Free Beach" operation plan, have continued controls along the entire coastline, with the aim of freeing public spaces that are occupied without the relevant permit by entities on the coast, by placing umbrellas and sun loungers.        

During the checks, in neighborhood no. 1, in two public spaces on the coast, 182 sets of umbrellas and sun loungers, which had been illegally placed by 2 citizens, were removed and seized.    

Following the actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where proceedings were initiated against citizens ND, 36 years old, and RH, 70 years old, both residents of Durrës.  

Police services will continue checks along the entire coastline, with the aim of freeing up public spaces for vacationers, and verifying the activities carried out by subjects during the summer season./CNA
