The police issued an official announcement regarding the shootings that were recorded this evening, where an officer of the "Eagle" department was injured.

Blta informs that concretely the police officer with the initials EA was shot with a weapon, who was immediately subjected to surgical intervention.

The officer, along with other colleagues of this department, were in pursuit of a suspicious person.

The latter opened fire on the police officers during the attempt to leave.

Other operatives of the "Eagle" are in pursuit of the author.

"In the "Kinostudio" neighborhood, on "Hysen Xhura" street, the services of the "Shqiponja" Special Force, after receiving information about a person who was walking around with firearms, started chasing the suspect.

During the pursuit, the armed person opened fire in the direction of the "Eagle" Forces, and as a result one of the officers, inspector EA, was injured, who was immediately sent to the hospital for medical assistance.

In pursuit of the armed person, other services of the "Eagle" Forces, the General Patrols, and the Special Operational Units, have blocked the entrances and exits of all roads, and the control for the capture of the armed person continues," the police announced. / CNA
