Dan Hutra's plan/ How the killer of women tried to escape from prison with

The General Directorate of Prisons has provided details of the escape plan of the murderer of women, Dan Hutra.

According to her, Hutra cooperated to implement this plan with 3 detained persons.

It is about citizens Martin Kapllani, Geraldo Veizaj and Feti Kovaçi. 

The aforementioned persons and Dan Hutra had started cutting the window frame with improvised tools.

The tools were found by security workers in room no. 15, where the murderer of women lay, together with a sheet framed as a rope.

Notification:

Today, on 04.01.2024, around 11:25, in IEVP Fier, as a result of following, surveillance, control and the use of technical tools for several weeks by the prison staff, he was caught red-handed trying to escape from the prisoner with dangerousness and criminal history, Dan Riza Hutra (author of several murders).

The criminal plan to escape from the prison was coordinated and in cooperation with three other detainees. In the room where they were accommodated, the detainees had started cutting the window frame with improvised tools.

During the check by the security staff, it was found that in room no. 15, where the high-risk prisoner, Dan Riza Hutra, was housed, escape tools were hidden, specifically: a sheet adapted as a rope and improvised cutting tools. Preliminary data indicate cooperation between the four prisoners, security breaches and escape attempts.

The prosecution is investigating the incident.

Citizen Dan Hutra, son of Riza and Mislime, born on 01.08.1982, born in Kukës and resident of Kodër Kamëz, Tirana, with Albanian citizenship and nationality, with repeated criminal history, with Decision No. 466 Regj. Them, date. 04.03.2023, of the Court of the Judicial District of Tirana, the personal security measure "arrest in prison" was assigned to the suspect for committing criminal offenses, "Murder due to family relations", provided by article 79/c, "Murder due to family relations", remaining on trial, provided for by Article 79/c-22, as the suspected perpetrator of the murder of four persons.

Citizen Martin Kapllani, son of Adhurim and Rezarta, born on 24.12.2003, born and resident in Vlora, with Decision No. 62-2023-4189, dated 04.11.2023, of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Fier, the personal security measure "arrest in prison" has been assigned to him, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Theft", provided for by article 134/2 of the Penal Code.

Citizen Geraldo Veizaj, son of Barjam and Luiza, born on 04.07.2004, born and resident in Vlora, with Decision No. 62-2023-4189, dated 04.11.2023, of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Fier, the personal security measure "arrest in prison" has been assigned to him, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Theft", provided by article 134/2 of the Penal Code.

4. Citizen Feti Kovaçi, son of Arben and Dëshira, born on 20.02.1996, born and resident in Vlorë, Lgj. "24-Maji", with Albanian citizenship and nationality, arrived on 21.10.2023, from the Vlora Police Station, after the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Vlora with (Abbreviation-Decision) No. 476, dated 21.10.2023, has set the measure of personal security "Arrest in prison", suspected of committing the criminal offense "Theft", provided by article 134/2 Penal Code/CNA
