Injury in Borsh/ The perpetrator is arrested, another is wanted

Police have arrested 42-year-old H. Ç., as the suspected perpetrator of two injuries in Borsh.

The arrested man was initially involved in a conflict with EV, 55, and then, while leaving, he fired a gun at the vehicle driven by E. Sh., 33, wounding him in the shoulder and leg.

The 42-year-old also injured a 43-year-old with the barrel of a pistol. The person involved in the conflict with the 42-year-old, EV, 55, has been declared wanted.

 

Police notification

On 31.07.2025, at around 02:20, in a bar in the village of Borsh, Himara, citizen H. Ç., 42 years old, resident of Borsh, is suspected of being involved in a physical conflict, for weak motives, during which he was punched by citizen EV, 55 years old, resident of Tirana. After this moment, citizen H. Ç. left the premises of the bar and returned with an automatic firearm, with which he shot at the “Volkswagen” type vehicle, driven by citizen E. Sh., 33 years old, wounding him in the shoulder and leg. This citizen is currently in hospital, out of danger to his life. It is also suspected that citizen H. Ç. also hit citizen AD, 43 years old, with the butt of the gun.

As a result of rapid investigative and procedural actions by the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector at the Vlora Police Department, citizen H. Ç. was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of “Intentional Murder”, attempted, and “Unauthorized Production and Possession of Weapons and Ammunition”. Citizen EV has also been declared wanted for the criminal offense of “Other intentional damage”.

At the scene, 4 shell casings and a cartridge comb were seized as material evidence.

Work continues to locate the firearm used in this incident, as well as to identify and apprehend other citizens suspected of being involved in the conflict.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action.
