Injured a citizen with a cutting tool/ The perpetrator was arrested in Tirana

Following a report in the early hours of midnight of an injury with a cutting tool on "Ndre Mjeda" Street in Tirana, the capital's Police have identified, captured and arrested the suspected perpetrator of the injury to the 37-year-old man.

It is learned that the incident occurred for weak motives. The police found and seized the cutting tool with which the perpetrator injured the 37-year-old.

At the conclusion of the first investigative actions, the Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Commissariat No. 2 arrested citizen GP, ??28 years old, resident of Tirana.

Further verifications revealed that citizen GP was under house arrest for the criminal offense of "Irregular Driving".

The injured person has received medical assistance and is out of danger.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA
