They stole sums of money and cell phones/ 4 young people arrested in Tirana

Tirana Police have arrested and handcuffed 4 citizens accused of violently stealing a large amount of money and mobile phones from an apartment rented by 3 foreign nationals. The action was the finalization of the police operation codenamed "Brothers".

The police also seized 3,350 euros, narcotics, a cold weapon, the vehicle used during the theft, and 4 cell phones.

As a result of the operation, the following citizens were arrested:

SZ, 20 years old and OZ, 18 years old (brothers);

Xh. S., 20 years old and SS, 18 years old (brothers).   

These citizens, in collaboration with each other, have forcibly stolen a sum of money and 2 cell phones from the apartment rented by 3 Turkish citizens.

Following the actions, the arrest of Turkish citizen MM, 24 years old, was carried out, after during the search of her rented apartment, a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis was found and seized.

Also, the other 2 Turkish citizens were acquitted for failing to report a crime.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
