After the entry into force of the Extradition Agreement between the Republic of Albania and the Kingdom of Spain, on March 16 of this year, the State Police has intensified its work, with the aim of locating, capturing and extraditing the citizens wanted by the Spanish authorities.

The 38-year-old man is extradited, with an international arrest warrant, for the criminal offenses of "Trafficking in narcotics" and "Criminal organization", caught by the Vlora Police on May 7 of this year, as part of the coded police operation "Lugo".

From the Interpol Central Office Tirana, thanks to the cooperation with the Spanish counterparts, the extradition to Spain was made of the citizen:

-A. Xh., 38 years old, resident of Bishan village, Vlorë.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted, as the Spanish judicial authorities, with the decision dated 15.01.2021, have issued an international arrest warrant against him, for the criminal offenses "Trafficking in narcotics" and "Criminal organization", provided by the Criminal Code of Spain .

The 38-year-old man was arrested on 07.05.2022, as part of the coded police operation "Lugo", carried out by the Police of Vlora.

During yesterday, the RT citizen was also extradited to Spain, wanted for criminal offenses in the field of narcotics and against public health and was handcuffed by the Fier Police on 06.05.2022, as part of the police operation coded "Vilanova ".
