Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic, in cooperation with the Operational Section and the Special Force "Shqiponja", in DVP Gjirokastër, following the work to combat the criminal activity of providing assistance to foreign citizens, for illegal crossing of the border, against profit, based also on police information, have successfully organized and finalized the coded police operation "Road Guard 35", as a result of which citizens were arrested in the act:

-E. T., 22 vjeç dhe S. V., 21 vjeç, të dy banues në Krujë, pasi janë kapur nga shërbimet e Policisë, në vendin e quajtur "Ura e Lumit", duke transportuar me automjetin tip furgon, 9 emigrantë të paligjshëm nga vendet MENA, kundrejt fitimit.

Specialistët e Seksionit për Hetimin e Trafiqeve të Paligjshme dhe Narkotikëve ndaluan gjithashtu shtetasit M. A., 21 vjeç dhe A. M., 18 vjeç, të dy nga Pakistani, pasi nga veprimet hetimore rezulton se janë organizatorë të veprimtarisë kriminale të kalimit të paligjshëm të kufirit shtetëror.

During the checks carried out by the Police services, quantities of suspected narcotic cannabis were found in the vehicle and in the handbag of all 4 of these citizens, as well as seized as material evidence.
As material evidence, the vehicle in which these citizens were transported, the amount of the suspected narcotic substance cannabis, a sum of money and 4 mobile devices were seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Gjirokastër, for further action, for the criminal offenses "Giving assistance for illegal border crossing", carried out in cooperation and "Production and sale of narcotics".
