Part of a criminal group in Spain/ The most wanted man is arrested in Vlora

The Vlora police have arrested the 50-year-old wanted by Spanish justice, Laert Bulla.

He was declared an international wanted by Interpol Madrid, after the Central Court of Instruction in Spain, with the decision of 14.02.2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Participation in a criminal group for the purpose of trafficking and cultivation of narcotics" and "Theft of electricity", provided by the Spanish criminal legislation.

Meanwhile, Bulla's extradition to Spain is expected in the coming days.

Full police statement:

Vlorë/Increased checks by the structures of DVP Vlorë continue, for the capture of wanted persons.

In cooperation with Interpol Tirana, the third phase of the coded police operation "Escape" is finalized.

Another member of the criminal group active in the field of narcotics is caught and temporarily arrested, with the aim of extradition, in Spain.

The number of internationally wanted citizens (members of the same criminal group), caught in Vlora, reaches 3.

Seksioni për Hetimin e Trafiqeve dhe Narkotikëve, në bashkëpunim me shërbimet e Forcës së Posaçme Operacionale, të DVP Vlorë, bazuar në informacionet e siguruara përmes inteligjencës informative, për vendndodhjen e një tjetër shtetasi të kërkuar ndërkombëtarisht si pjesëtar i një grupi kriminal me aktivitet kultivimin e bimëve narkotike të llojit marijuanë, në Spanjë, kanë organizuar dhe finalizuar, në bashkëpunim me Interpol Tirana, fazën e tretë të operacionit policor të koduar “Escape”.

Në kuadër të këtij operacioni, u kap në Rrugën Transballkanike dhe u arrestua përkohësisht, shtetasi:

-L. B., 50 vjeç, banues në Vlorë.

This citizen was declared an international wanted by Interpol Madrid, after the Central Court of Instruction in Spain, with the decision of 14.02.2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Participation in a criminal group for the purpose of trafficking and the cultivation of narcotics" and "Theft of electricity", provided by the Spanish criminal legislation.

LB citizen, together with US citizens and Xh. H., previously arrested by the Police in Vlora, are accused of being members of the same criminal group in Spain, which deals with the cultivation of marijuana. National LB is suspected to be responsible for the purchase, transportation and supply of the electrical equipment that was used to cultivate the plantations.
