The double murder in Elbasan/ Unraveling Alibej: Ready to talk

Erion Alibej has refused to speak before the Special Court Against Organized Crime regarding the murder of Emiljano Ramazan and Regis Runaj.

"I am ready to speak, but at a later date. I have a family problem", said Alibej.

Alibej was called as a witness and defendant, when he was asked by the court for the second time, he said that he would speak, but at a different time.

It is not known if the family case that Alibej mentioned was related to a recent operation in Elbasan, where his relatives, Arben Spahiu and Arsen Preçi, were arrested.

The judge reminded the defendant that he took the same position a few months ago, but Alibej insisted that the family problem had just happened to him.

His request was also accepted by the prosecutor who told the court to give him the opportunity to testify at another time. /CNA.al
