Elderly man hit to death/ Juvenile arrested

An accident occurred this afternoon in the village of Yrshek.

A 15-year-old boy hit an elderly man who was riding a bicycle with a vehicle. As a result of the collision, the 82-year-old died on the way to the hospital.

Police announced that the juvenile who caused the accident has been arrested.

Traffic specialists arrested a 15-year-old minor citizen after, in Yrshek, today, at around 2:40 p.m., it is suspected that while driving a vehicle belonging to his family, he hit citizen SV, 82, who was riding a bicycle.

As a result, the 82-year-old man lost his life on the way to the hospital.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
