He deceived citizens and took their money/ 64-year-old arrested in Tirana

The police operation codenamed "The Friend" is being finalized by Police Station No. 1, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office. The 64-year-old man was arrested for defrauding citizens of various amounts of money.

The 64-year-old was previously convicted for the same activity.

The Crime Investigation Specialists at Police Station No. 1, as a result of investigations conducted with proactive methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "The Friend".

As part of this operation, the arrest of citizen SL, 64 years old, resident of Tirana, was made.

The investigation revealed that this citizen, through fraud, obtained various amounts of money, ranging from 500-1000 euros, from various citizens, by presenting himself as a friend of their children, who lived abroad.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions./CNA
