5 pedestrians hit by car during maneuvers/ 39-year-old arrested in Tirana

The 39-year-old man made dangerous maneuvers with his vehicle on the road, hit 5 pedestrians, abandoned the vehicle at the scene of the accident and fled. He was caught and put in handcuffs.  

The "Audi" vehicle was impounded and the 39-year-old was given an additional measure of driving license revocation.

Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 5, in cooperation with traffic services, captured and arrested citizen PB, 39 years old, resident of Kamëz.

Yesterday, on "Halit Haxhija" street, citizen PB, driving an "Audi" vehicle, performed dangerous maneuvers and as a result the vehicle left the road, hitting 5 citizens (pedestrians), who received medical assistance at the hospital and are out of danger.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
