They obstructed the movement of vehicles on the road/ 23 protesters under

23 protesters are under investigation by the police for committing acts contrary to the law during the rally.

According to the police, some of the participants in the rally organized and directed the participants, obstructing the free circulation of vehicles on several streets of Tirana, contrary to the previously announced itinerary.

"The Tirana DVP Police Services, in addition to their commitment to guaranteeing order and security during the rally held yesterday evening, have carried out a series of investigative and procedural actions to identify citizens who committed acts contrary to the law during the rally.

The verifications carried out showed that some of the participants in the rally organized and directed the participants, obstructing the free movement of vehicles on several streets in Tirana, contrary to the previously announced itinerary.

In this regard, 23 citizens were criminally prosecuted by the Crime Investigation specialists at Police Station No. 3, specifically: AK, A. Ll., LK, EK, VD, EZ, Xh. P., AN, I. Rr., J. Sh., AH, Xh. B., Sh. B., EQ, TH, SM, EK, DK, A. Ll., LD, BK, RS and EL.

Work continues to identify and prosecute other responsible persons.

The procedural materials will be referred to the Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offenses of "Organizing and participating in illegal gatherings and demonstrations", "Disturbing public order and peace" and "Obstructing the circulation of means of transport", the police statement said./ CNA
