Preventing domestic crime/ He tried to kill his minor son, 49-year-old arrested

A serious incident has been prevented by police in Elbasan, in the village of Godolesh.

Sh. V., 49 years old, who is suspected of having physically abused his wife and attempted to attack their 10-year-old son with an axe, has been arrested by authorities.

"The rapid intervention and professional actions of the Police services prevent the escalation of violence in a family, in the village of Godolesh."   

A 49-year-old man who physically abused his wife and attempted to attack their minor son with an axe has been arrested and taken into custody. 

The services of the Elbasan Police Commissariat, after receiving notification of a case of domestic violence in the village of Godolesh, immediately intervened in order to prevent the situation from escalating.

As a result of quick actions, it was possible to capture and arrest in flagrante delicto the citizen Sh. V., 49 years old, who is suspected of having exercised physical violence against his wife and attempted to attack their 10-year-old son with an axe.

"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, for further action," the police announced./ CNA
