Child pornography charges/ Court decides for two girls

The court released the two girls who were arrested 3 days ago by the Korça police on charges of child pornography after they are suspected of publishing blackmailing messages and pornographic videos and photos through an Instagram page.

The Korça Prosecution requested house arrest for both girls until the investigation is completed, while the measure has set milder measures than those requested by the prosecution for PM and EP.

The court imposed mandatory reporting for 19-year-old PM and parental supervision for 17-year-old EP.

The hearing lasted almost 2 hours and 30 minutes. During the hearing, the two lawyers requested a lighter security measure than the one requested by the prosecution, while investigations will continue to prove the responsibility of the girls and other young people involved in this incident./ CNA
