5 people have been arrested and 1 other person has been declared wanted after 112 narcotic plants were found in a place called "Zabeli i Acaciave", in the village of Karine, Peqin.

From the searches in the homes of these citizens, 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 2 pistols and a quantity of combat ammunition for them, 1 hunting rifle, detonator caps with a fuse, knives and vehicle license plates were found and seized.

The arrested are accused of "production and sale of narcotics", "Cultivation of narcotic plants", "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Illegal production and possession of hunting weapons" and "Illegal production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons".

Peqin/The police operation codenamed "Night Eye" is being finalized, targeting criminal activities of cultivating narcotic plants and carrying weapons without a permit.

As part of the operation:

-Citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: QK, 67 years old, QK, 24 years old (father and son), residents of the village of Karine, EJ, 37 years old, resident of Peqin and AH, 31 years old and AH 59 years old (father and son), residents of the village of Garunje e vogël.
