Anti-cannabis operation in Mat/ Hundreds of narcotic plants are destroyed, 3

The police are continuing with the anti-cannabis operations in the area of ??Mati, where they have hit 2 more cases of this criminal act.

It is reported that 341 narcotic plants were destroyed from this operation.

3 people were put in handcuffs, while 2 others are under investigation.

" Controls continue in deep areas of the district, for the prevention and suppression of the cultivation of narcotic plants.

The sixth phase of the coded police operation "Clean Ridges" is finalized, 2 more cases of this criminal activity are dealt with.

341 cannabis sativa narcotic plants that were found cultivated in the villages of Stojan and Lundre are destroyed by burning.

The 3 suspected perpetrators (2 of them brothers) of cultivating these plants are identified, caught and arrested.

In the following, the mayor of Stojan village and an inspector of the forest service in this area are prosecuted for abuse of office.

-During all phases of this operation, 1801 cannabis sativa narcotic plants were destroyed, 6 perpetrators of the cultivation of these plants were arrested, 3 others were wanted, and 4 citizens were criminally prosecuted, among them village heads and inspectors forest service.

The services of the Mat Police Commissariat and the crime investigation structures in volume in DVP Dibër, have continued the controls in every corner of the district, against the cultivation of narcotic plants. Controls, with ground services and drones, are based on information provided by police intelligence. As a result, the sixth phase of the anti-cannabis police operation coded "Kreshta pastra" has been finalized, in the framework of which 2 more cases of this criminal activity were dealt with.

- In the village of Stojan, the Police destroyed 176 cannabis sativa narcotic plants by burning them. As a result of quick investigative and procedural actions, the suspected perpetrators of the cultivation of these plants, citizens VS and SP (brothers), both residents of Stojan village, were identified and arrested.

- In the village of Lundre, Stojan administrative unit, the Police destroyed another 165 cannabis sativa narcotic plants through burning. Also, the suspected author of the cultivation of these plants, citizen J. Gj., resident in the village of Kokërdhok, was identified and arrested.

Following the procedural actions for these cases, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", for citizens Gj. B., 31 years old, the mayor of Stojan village and MD, 63 years old, forest service inspector in this area.

The anti-cannabis police operation, codenamed "Clean Ridges", follows.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Dibër, for further actions.

The Police of Dibra calls on the mayors of the villages, forest service inspectors and all those whom the law charges with responsibility, to cooperate with the State Police in the control of the territory to combat illegality.
