The police have stated that the 26-year-old man with the initials EA, who took over Tuesday's accident at the Tirana artificial lake dam, was not present in the vehicle at the time of the incident, thus giving false testimony.

According to the police, the 26-year-old's brother, the citizen with the initials JA, was in the car as a passenger, while the driver of the car was the 28-year-old with the initials EN.

JA was prosecuted in a state of freedom for the criminal offense of "Disqualification of the crime".

From the investigative actions, the police say that it is suspected that EN, driving the "BMË" type vehicle, owned by EA, lost control due to the very high speed, as a result the vehicle left the road and collided with the side curb, to Artificial lake.
