Wanted for criminal offenses/ Two Albanian citizens extradited to Albania

The State Police, in cooperation with Interpol, arrested and extradited to Albania two individuals wanted for committing criminal offenses.

Two people were extradited, an 18-year-old from Germany, sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison, and a 50-year-old from Italy, after the GJKKO assigned him the security measure "Arrest in Prison".

Following the cooperation with the homologous structures in the German Police, for the localization, capture and extradition of citizens on international wanted list, under the direction of the Interpol Directorate, procedures were carried out for the extradition to Albania of citizen FM, 18 years old, resident of Tirana.

This citizen was declared an international wanted person after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Theft by force", attempted, committed in collaboration.  

The 18-year-old, in collaboration with his brother and 2 other citizens (all minors), attempted to steal a large amount of money from a minor citizen on the street, threatening him with a knife.

Also, as a result of cooperation with Interpol Rome, for the localization, capture and extradition of internationally wanted citizens, under the direction of the Interpol Directorate, the Albanian citizen IN, 50 years old, was extradited from Italy. 

This citizen has been declared internationally wanted after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", committed in the form of a structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group" and "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization" ./CNA
