Police have arrested 3 young men in Kamëz after they threatened a minor girl and took 300,000 lek from her to prevent her from publishing personal photos.

As a result, citizen ON, 19 years old, and two minor citizens aged 17 and 14 years old were arrested for the criminal offense of "Coercion by threat/violence for the release of property", all 3 residents of Kamëz.

The arrested person's 3 cell phones were seized as material evidence.

The police operation codenamed "Blackmail" is being finalized by the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector at the Tirana Police Department.

Three citizens were arrested for threatening a minor citizen, for giving her money, for not publishing a personal photo of her on social networks.

3 mobile phones were seized.

The Serious Crimes Investigation Sector Services, based on a report received that a 15-year-old girl was being threatened by 3 citizens for giving up property, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Blackmail".

As a result, citizen ON, 19 years old, and two minor citizens aged 17 and 14 years old were arrested for the criminal offense of "Coercion by threat/violence for the release of property", all 3 residents of Kamëz.

These citizens are suspected of having, in collaboration with each other, threatened a minor citizen, through a personal photo, from whom they have taken at different times the sum of approximately 300,000 new lek. The 3 cell phones of the arrested person have been seized as material evidence.
 

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
