Connection with Suel Çela's group/ GJKKO rejects former judge's

The Special Court has rejected the request of former judge Pajtime Fetahu for the replacement of the security measure.

The former judge, who emerged in the wiretapped conversations as being involved in Suel Çela's group, had filed the request on January 27, 2025, requesting the replacement of the security measure imposed by decisions no. 138, dated 22.11.2024, and no. 146, dated 27.11.2024.

Announcement of the GJKKO:

SPECIAL COURT OF FIRST INSTANCE FOR CORRUPTION AND ORGANIZED CRIME

1. The applicant Pajtime Fetah on 27.01.2025 submitted to the Court the request with the subject: “Replacement of the security measure, ordered by decision no. 138 dated 22.11.2025 and no. 146 dated 27.11.2024 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime”. 2. At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with a panel composed of judge Erjon Çela, based on articles 112, 230/2, 238 and 260/2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, with decision no. 89, dated 01.04.2025, decided: 1. The rejection of the request of the applicant (person under investigation) Pajtime Fetah. 2. An appeal may be filed against this decision, at the Special Court of Appeal against Corruption and Organized Crime, within 5 days, the deadline which begins from the day of notification of the court's decision.
