Ilaria Sula's father, Flamur Sula, spoke on Italian television after his daughter's macabre murder. The deceased's father said that his daughter had told him that she had to study for an exam and would return home on Saturday.

Further, Ilaria's father says that since Saturday, family and friends had been receiving strange messages from the 22-year-old's number. In one of the messages, it was written that Ilaria would return home in a month.

Flamur Sula said he knew his daughter was missing, otherwise she would have called him.

Regarding his daughter's relationship with Filipino Mark Samson, Ilaria's father said that they had been together for a year and the 22-year-old had not said anything more.

" They had been together for almost a year and a half. My daughter didn't say anything, just that they needed each other. She told me she had to study for an exam and that she would be back on Saturday. I knew she was missing, otherwise she would have called me. Since Saturday, together with Ilaria's roommates, we have been receiving strange messages from my daughter's number, as if someone wanted to make us believe that the victim was still alive. She wrote to me: Dad, don't worry, I'm fine, I'll be back in Terni in a month ," Ilaria's father declared.

 

Ilaria Sula, who was allegedly stabbed to death inside an apartment in Rome by her Filipino boyfriend. The 23-year-old is suspected of then putting the victim's body inside a suitcase and taking it to a wooded area in Poli.

He has been arrested on charges of intentional murder, as well as concealing a corpse.

The victim's cell phone records have revealed the 23-year-old, who used the Albanian student's phone to exchange messages, as well as to publish posts on Ilaria's social networks./ CNA
