The finalization of Operation "Sunrise" has made it possible to crack down on a case of illegal possession of weapons.

As a result, 47-year-old LT was arrested, and an arsenal of weapons was found hidden in his apartment.

Firearms, a Kalashnikov rifle, 2 pistol rifles and a quantity of ammunition were found and seized.

Delvinë/The crackdown on illegal possession of weapons continues, the Delvinë Police Commissariat successfully finalizes the police operation codenamed "Sunrise". 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 double-barreled shotgun, combs and ammunition are seized. The possessor, who was keeping them hidden in the apartment, is in handcuffs.

Continuing the work to prevent, identify and crack down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, as well as based on information provided by intelligence, which indicated that a citizen possessed weapons in his apartment, the services of the Delvina Police Commissariat successfully organized and finalized, during this morning, the police operation codenamed "Sunrise".

As a result of this operation, citizen LT, 47 years old, resident of Delvina, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

During the operation, the Police services conducted a search of the apartment of citizen LT, where during the search they found and seized as material evidence: 1 Kalashnikov-type automatic firearm, 1 double-barreled shotgun, 1 Kalashnikov magazine, 2 pistol magazines and a quantity of cartridges.

The procedural materials in charge of this citizen were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Saranda, for further investigative and procedural actions./ CNA
