About 50 thousand liters of contraband were seized in the Port of Durrës.

The action was carried out by the Maritime Anti-Smuggling customs structure in cooperation with the border police in Durrës.

The fishing vessel "LEON" was blocked yesterday evening in the Port.

Gjenden dhe sekuestrohen rreth 25 000 litra naftë, si dhe mallra të tjerë, të dyshuar të kontrabanduar.

Si rezultat i kontrolleve intensive për goditjen e paligjshmërive, shërbimet e PKK Port Durrës në bashkëpunim me autoritetet portuale dhe doganore, ekipin monitorues të Guardia di Finanza dhe me specialistët e seksioneve për Hetimin e Krimit dhe Hetimin e Krimit Ekonomik dhe Financiar të DVP Durrës, kanë organizuar dhe finalizuar planin intensiv operacional të koduar “Diesel 2”, në kuadër të të cilit janë evidentuar dhe goditur 2 raste të kontrabandimit të mallrave të ndryshëm dhe janë vënë në pranga shtetasit Sh. C., 43 vjeç dhe R. C., 41 vjeç, banues në Kavajë (vëllezër).

During the control carried out on the bus driven by the AR citizen and where the ND citizen was a passenger, 120 bottles and 30 liters of wine, as well as 205 boxes of perfumes of different brands, were found and seized as material evidence, goods which were found without purchase receipt and undeclared at customs./ CNA.al
