The public beach in Porto Romano is released/ 836 sunbeds and umbrellas are

Durrës Police has finalized the coded police operation "Free Beach", thanks to which the public space on the coastline of Porto Romano was freed.

Also, 836 sunbeds and umbrellas that were placed without the relevant permit were removed and seized.

Following the procedural actions for these cases, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a state of freedom for the citizens:

-AZ, 43 years old, after having placed 88 sunbeds and 16 umbrellas, without the relevant permit;

- FE, 47 years old, after having placed 152 sunbeds and 66 umbrellas, without the relevant permit;

- Ms. B., 55 years old, after having placed 40 sunbeds and 20 umbrellas, without the relevant permit;

- LB, 53 years old, after having placed 300 sunbeds and 150 umbrellas, without the relevant permit.

The "Free Beach" operational plan follows.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Land invasion".

The State Police appeals to all owners and managers of bars and hotels not to occupy public spaces on beaches without authorization, as they will face sanctions. In this context, we invite vacationers to, if they encounter such a violation, report it to the Digital Commissariat or to the toll-free number 112./ CNA.al
