They drove into the courtyard of a public school and assaulted the police

The Public Order Services of the Berat Local Police Directorate, while patrolling the entire territory of the district, in order to guarantee public safety and to prevent illegalities, during yesterday afternoon, found a "Benz" type vehicle that was parked in the yard of a public school.

After the finding, the Police services approached the vehicle and asked its driver, a citizen of KK, to present the documents and the authorization to stay in this special environment, in order to carry out verifications. Neither this citizen nor the passenger in this vehicle, citizen EK, have refused to provide the documents and have violently opposed the Police officers, in order not to carry out further procedural actions.

For this reason, citizens KK, 39 years old and EK, 36 years old, both residents of Berat, were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense "Opposing a public order police officer", carried out in collaboration.

Also, a check was carried out on the "Benz" type vehicle, in which no illegal items were found./ CNA
